Gypsy

Monday, November 1st, 2010

Gabby wore the gypsy costume we bought for her when we were on a tour of Ephesus in Turkey. She was pretty darn cute if I do say so myself. She can’t say “trick or treat” yet, but she certainly knew what she needed to do.  She politely took the candy making sure not to grab at everything in the bowl, placed it in her bag, turned around and said “bye bye!” It was adorable.

Gabby came with us to see Cole in his school’s Halloween parade. As soon as all of the kids were off the stage, Gabby was up there running around. She sat still for a moment to allow me to take a picture.

Gabby with DJ Lance. Someone at the Halloween party the night before told Brian he looked like a Japanese toilet brush. Pretty darn funny.

Full body shot of DJ Lance. Look how small the kids look in comparison!

Taking a ride around the neighborhood a few weekends ago.

Brian hung up our old tapestries on the playground set. Matt Pynch called it a shanty town. Gabby and Coleman really enjoy it.

A few Sundays ago, I made chocolate dream for my book club. Gabby loved licking the cream cheese mixture from the spoon, which was a rare treat for her.

The Liberace Museum closed the same day. Here are the kids outside the building with all of the costumes. Cole’s not happy because Gabby is playing with Daddy’s phone, and he wants it! Kinda funny to see her so happy and him so pouty.

Gabby peruses the American Girl catalogue.

Aunt Jillian and Gabby at the Our Lady festival.

Gabby gets her own lollipop and loves it.

Yo, yo, yo, I got my bro’s hat on backwards. Wouldn’t he be so ticked if he saw me wearing his hat?

Gabby pooped in the potty for Dulce recently only because Dulce could see that she was about to do the deed. That was 2 weeks ago. We haven’t made an full blown attempt yet to start potty training her. I always like sitting her on her potty just to see if something happens.
