I’ve heard Gabby speak three words. She likes to say “uh-oh” fairly often, and I heard her say “no” once. She usually communicates by making the most irritating sounds possible to let us know that whatever we are doing, it’s not to her liking. (And I thought Cole had a strong personality!”) The word she likes to say is “up” and she says it often. She likes to point at the sky when saying it. I can’t help but wonder what this means. Will she be a pilot one day? Is she commanding me to get up? Does she know something I don’t know?

Gabby is wearing the jersey Uncle Paul bought for Cole. Who dat say gonna beat dem Saints? No one. That’s who!

Gabby lets one of Brian’s best friends ever hold her. Way to go Izzy! Gabby is kind of particular about people holding her. I guess I should be thankful that she’s a Momma’s girl for now.

Getting messy with her food. I can’t remember what she was eating. Maybe lentils . . .

Gabby loves it when her big brother wants to play with her instead of hit her.

Gabby loves playing with Cole’s Woody doll (Toy Story) that he got for Christmas. (Cole doesn’t give Woody the time of day.) Finally, she got a doll of her own from Grandma Wendy. We named her Ga Ga since this is something Gabby can say.

Grandma Wendy buys most of Gabby’s clothes, so I am proud to say that I bought this outfit, and I think I did a pretty good job!

While this is not the most flattering picture of Gabby, I had to post it because she’s making the monkey face that Cole often made at this age.
